I found this one last weekend, I wasn't really looking to buy another but I just took a shot in the dark and they guy was willing to deal so, well, here it is. This is a big one, over 30 inches tall, and in really good shape. There are a couple of places that the leather is ripped but I think if I can glue it down and condition the leather a little it should look pretty good as is. The lid on the large compartment has come off but should be okay with a bit of glue as well otherwise it looks pretty nice too. Needless to say I'm pretty happy with this one.

Whew, that a BIG one FatBoy!! Beautiful find my friend. The leather looks to be in fantastic condition, other that the torn spot that you mentioned. The interior is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see it after you've worked your magic on it. Nice!!!
Wow -- fabulous find -- love the look of these "tallboy" trunks as I call them. Triple bonus points for the intact interior. Those side hinges always look great but the ones I have had were always broken -- design flaw in that there is an inherent weakness in the metal part that holds most of the weight and they seem to break too easily. Great pick...
Nice to see this old Round top survive.This one has some wonderful designs in the leather.
