My Collection of assorted iconic dinky and corgi toys with a couple of spot on models thrown in . 100 Lady Penelope's FAB1 from thunderbirds . Corgi 261 007 Goldfinger Aston Martin with gadgets , Corgi 336 007 Toyota 2000 from you only love twice .162 Ford zephyr, 159 Morris oxford, 2x 181 volkswagen in light grey and olive green . 24M vw karmann ghia, 2x 106(140a) Austin atlantic in black/red and Pink/cream , 472 Austin van "BP Shell" 561 citroen camionette in CIBIE livery and many more .All with boxes as they should be .
Very nice collection you have with the boxes, I see there numbered, how many are there in the series of dinky toys ?
Hi there . That's a really good question . I suspect they made over 1500 cars trucks vans and various other vehicles as I have a car numbered 1424 from the mids 70s but I am not sure exactly how many .

I still have my Dinky Toys I had before I left school 'All well played with' and the Dinky Toys I started buying when I started work back in the mid-sixty's still with the prices written on the end of the boxes like 2/6, 3/11 & 4/6 in the days when Britain had real Money.
I have now started collecting the Atlas Edition reproduction Dinky Toys.
Are they available in your part of the globe they tend to be more French Dinky Toy based so most were never available in the 'Uk'
I know they will never be worth as much but it's nice when you can pair them up with one that's been played to death, When every paint chip could tell a story.
Or to pair them up with an original with the box.
