Shriners/Masonic Syria Temple "1911 Rochester NY" Souvenir Champagne Glass
The Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, also commonly known as Shriners was established in 1870. The organization is best known for the Shriners Hospitals for Children it administers.
This glass souvenir was created for a gift to the delegates that attended the annual convention. The champagne glass is from the Syria Temple in Pittsburgh, PA and was a souvenir from it's 1911 Rochester NY convention. The glass measures 5 " in height and 3 3/4" across the top. It shows the Shriner International logo, skyline of Pittsburgh and Rochester, camel with rider and photographer. The bowl is supported by three scimitar as part of the stem.
