Recently I posted an Ideal Bear with a rubber muzzle and someone else posted one thinking it was a Gund bear. After some research on Gund bears I saw this one and thought it was Gund. It has the whisker dots on the muzzle like a Gund and the stitching seems to be the same. But this does not have the wrinkled lines around the muzzle where it meets the face. It is a 24" bear which is on the large side for teddy bears of the time.
Going with a Gund for now although I am open to suggestions.
There are few things more loveable than an old well loved teddy bear or doll. thanks for sharing these. mary

I am positive that is a Gund. I have one , i bought one on ebay after I wanted one
after seeing still from the tv show mash, Radar or gary from the show had one, I wanted one and found one cheap. It has a gund label on it by the left arm.
