~ Hi CW Gang ~
Have a pair of these old ( heavy ) Roller skates. Made in Canada Model number 24. Have Double ball bearings wheels. Still has the original leather strap on them yet. Can slide the bottom to make a different size to fit a boot. Nice old memories with these, if nothing else, a Door paperweight......LOL. Not sure of the maker...maybe Dominion ??

I used to have some like these!
I remember these roller skates. My brothers and sisters used to use these on the streets and sidewalks of Brooklyn. The metal wheels would actually get grinded down from the rough sidewalks. Nice.
Boy I remember using those kinds of skates when I was little and they would fall off a lot . It reminds me of the Song " I got a brand new Pair of Roller Skates " "
