I bought this necklace off a local internet site for 13,00 Euro plus postage. It looks like Bakelite. The beads are on cotton thread. I 'm going to get some Simichrome via a good friend of mine whose mother lives close by in Geilenkirchen. I cannot order it for delivery in The Netherlands as the German Amazon site will not deliver out of the country for this product. :-/ Where there's a will, there's a way!
