Came across this today and I absolutely love it .
It’s a steel etching of The arrival of the snow queen by the Johnstone sisters.

Beautiful etching of a beloved story, once in awhile I still watch a DVD of movies or ballets based on this enchanting fairytale. Lovely post

I have 2 0f this picture! By Janet and Anne Grahame Johnstone, I brought the first picture new in the early 1980's, and I'm pretty sure it cost me £25 then (probably a weeks wages then!) but I've always been a fan of them, and have a collection of most of their books! Well done for finding it.
This is fabulous- I like to collect bits of their work too because of their beauty!
