This is another piece I fell for at a sale. My taste are extending to antique pieces that are gorgeous and stepping away from vintage for a minute. The issue is I see it, love it, buy it, but the majority of the time I don't receive the history of the piece. I am pretty sure this is a chatelaine, but other than that, zilch.

What a beautiful piece! I have not been able to get my hands on one yet - I guess I have to wait. I like to find out about the history of pieces, too, but sometimes it's hard:)

This piece is definitely a gorgeous piece of history. I pick up pieces that are unique and have no idea of the history, I just think they are beautiful like this piece. I gave the piece to my sister who is retired so that she can research the piece and share the history with me. She is great at researching pieces for me and she has fun doing so.
When she provides me the history I can share it with you.
