We had a '59 Chevy, the first new car I remember.

My Mother drove nothing but Cadillacs. When I was a small child I remember going to town and the family driving home in a 1960 Caddy. Talk about fins! It was a Coupe De Ville. Years later she gave it to my Brother, and it got towed away. He never registered it and didn't go get it from the towing company. ( there was something in the trunk) Ha! How I would love that car today, though my folks gave me their 1970 Caddy...Left it out in the salt air, enough said :(
Your posts always bring back memories long forgotten and I thank you. I'm smiling while I type this. I also smoked Virginia Slims...( no more, kids made me quit)
