I picked this out of a basket of rubbish bracelets at a local thrift shop a few weeks ago and paid the princely sum of 95 Euro cents for it. It is HUGE - inside diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The script V import mark was put on silver items between 1906-1953. There are no other marks on it. Not quite sure about the letters inside the cartouche. A person's name? Something else?

Pretty sure it's plated. Purity marks have been used since 1868 and if it were silver there would be a stamp.
