I grew up with Studebakers, my Father had 6 at different times, over the years. I always wanted an Avanti, from when it first came out in 1963 with a supercharger, and a 160mph odometer, for looks, it was faster than that! :^D I was never able to get one, and settled on an AMC Javelin, most fun/most work car I ever had! My Uncle always wanted a Golden Hawk(He never got that either), another Stude like yours that look like it was going fast just parked! :^D What a great looking car, thank you for showing! :^)

Sweet car indeed!! My father had a 1948 Studebaker pickup truck. And I still remember my Uncle's 1964 green/white Studebaker Champ pickup truck so well

My second car was a Studebaker it used 2 gallons of 50 weight tractor oil a day. Our neighbor had the Studebaker pickup and after the first week of owning it he painted the word Sputnik across the tailgate. Those of you old enough to remember Sputnik know why he named it that.

Mine was a Lark with a fold down front seat that turned it into a bed on wheels. Best idea in the world for a high school kid back then. I wanted a blackhawk but more than I could afford. The Lark was $100 and that almost broke me. Gone but not forgotten.
