The resin blocks that encase each of these little beasts are 4 1/4" long. So that should give everyone an idea of the size of each of these.
Up first is a large beetle with impressive pincers. That could give someone a painful nip alog with blood loss. They are about a 3rd of an inch long.
Next we have a giant whip scorpion which apparently isn't a scorpion but is an arachnid like scorpions and spiders. It doesn't have sting or bite but has a spray it uses in defense. They eat other bugs although the size may put people off.
#3 is a proper scorpion. I think it is an Emperor Scorpion. Has a nice set of claws and a stinger. Some people keep them as pets.
Last is a regular centipede. I posted my giant centipede a few years ago. This is the one that will end up in boots and other articles of clothing. Try not to get stung.

You are timely with the cool scorpion fort, as we are currently in the month of Scorpio :)

These are some VERY wicked looking creatures! Wouldn't want to encounter any of these bad boys.

      I love them....encased in acrylic!!
It’s fascinating to be able to examine the “armor” close up.
I’ll never forget a scorpion sting I received to the tip of one of my fingers several years ago...... excruciating!!

Thank you very much Newfld. I am in the cusp of Scorpio.

Thank you very much Scott. No one would not.

Thank you very much Watchsearcher. Yes acrylic is what they are in not resin.

Thank you very much keramikos. I do not relocate bugs I find in the house except for squished or otherwise dead.

Thank you very much Thomas. Love that show.

Whichever....acrylic or resin....the important thing is they are entrapped which reduces my fear!
