Does anyone recognize the acid-etched mark on the bottom of this vase? It's a large, heavy piece - 7.625" tall, 9.5" widest, 6.5" diameter rim. Gorgeous deep red base glass with textured finish. We're hitting a wall at figuring out who made this! Thanks for any input!

Welcome KelliFinds! Your red vase has an awesome glaze(?) - I can see an S and A within a circle, but alot of what is marked on the bottom of the vase is hidden in a dark five o'clock shadow. Need to see the rest of the mark please!

Hi Gillian! The mark is basically that "S" and "A" within the circle. The rest of it is just numbers - "AX-1" and "50" below that.

Mystery solved! This mark is that used by the Schott Zweisel company in the mid-70s, their "Arte Nova" line.
