Loetz Orange Astglas Vase, PN II-661, 1897

Recently, I was happy to be able to add an example of Loetz's orange 'Astglas' decor to my collection. This vase/bowl is PN II-661, and measures 3-1/2" (8.9cm) tall. The Astglas decor has a candia glass ground color, and in this case is fused with orange. This example is very iridescent, and really enjoy the color of it, too! In image 2, 'orange Astglas' is the only decor name written on the pattern.
