This wasn't the coolest of the Econoline line but still worth displaying. These vans had a bit of a nose on them for some crush zone safety. I prefer the flat face Econolines. Especially the pickup/van hybrids. But vans from this time were often used for van conversions with the plush interior and captain's chairs. I think that was the number 1 custom of the 1970s. You couldn't make hot rods anymore with all the smog rules.
Next it is displayed in my mini man cave which is around the circular staircase in my buildup area. It is a semi-basement that is partway underground. Just beyond that on the right is the military wall. Looks like it is filling up so some may move outside. Still have plenty of space outside.
Looks like I need to move the "100" a bit on the left end, my bad.

When I first started working for my buddy in the early 90s he had a Ford van with a bar in the back. We used to use that to tow the 68 Mercury XR7 Cougar drag car around with.
Matter fact my first day working for him I was pretty green and Young. First thing he made me do was change the rear end in that van. Luckily it came out okay.
