Bought a group of tintype photos and found this. Four men grouped together in front of a wooden fence with a Halloween type looking background of dead trees or a forest during fall. Three of the men are wearing white aprons. Two are striped, and one has a Large letter “A” in a circle with two other words above and below it. To the right it is written ?R & Fechner, S. Coon Rapids. So I believe the photo is from Minnesota or Iowa. Which my question is what line of work and what business did these men work for. I’m wondering if the “A” stands for Anoka County? Could be butchers, dairy workers / farmers/ loggers, store workers, etc.
1890s loose tintype.
More likely some sort of advertising on the apron rather than part of the county.
Not sure on professions. Add store workers to the mix as well.
