AEC Routemaster Double-Decker London bus to be exact. This is an upgrade as I have one like this but this one is mint. The other is in good condition which is not all that great.
This version has the BP visco-static label. I have the Longlife version in the last photo. Matchbox collectors need all the variations and box variations. The model was released in 1966 with Longlife labels and then they switched to visco-static. This one came with an E Style Box which is a big bonus. I believe this model was released in the E box until 1969. Actually I am not sure if it was ever released in an F box so I will have to keep looking. In the meantime I will have to get the original Longlife box.
I am thinking I will have to get all my London buses and trolleys together for a post.
