I've been in love with this Welz decor for a while, & was hoping I could score a piece one day...lucky for me this turned up on eBay AU last week & I was the winner!
Of course I didn't need *another* basket, but hey, what the hell? Might as well take the opportunity while I've got it.
This is a rose bowl style basket, with a tightly crimped, incurved top rim. It is made from three layers of cased glass, clear over a swirled spatter in browns, pink, white, & blue, over a white interior.
It measures around 20 cm tall (inclusive of handle), 10 cm across the top rim, & 7 cm across the base, which has a polished out pontil mark.

I agree, this is such a vibrant & cheerful decor. On this basket it almost resembles a striped silk fabric, & looks like a vintage drawstring purse. Very folkloric!
