Some of you may recall me expressing regret from time to time regarding items I've sold in the past. Most of the things I've sold I don't miss, & I'm glad they've found new homes, but there's a few that have continued to haunt me years later.
Yet in that mysterious manner that seems to govern the ebb & flow of stuff, you can sometimes get a replacement piece come back to you. It really does all go around in circles!
This Kralik vase is one of those cosmic revisions of an error in judgement made around 2015.
The vase is made from a single layer of green glass with a draped pattern & iridescent finish. It measures 18.5 cm tall, 3 cm across the top rim, & around 7 cm across the widest point of the base. The shape is pretty cool, a simple stick neck atop a three sided base with circular indentations. Has a silver rim just like the former vase I had, too.
I appreciate this vase a lot more the second time around than I did the first version!

Great find! So no more nights lying in bed, blankets clutched to your chin, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. Maybe with a few muttered, "Why, why, why.....?". Been there. Congrats!
Hi Marin, is there a hallmark on the silver caps? You may remember I showed a pair of 4 sided ones 3 years ago, only one had the silver top and only the assay office (London) and year (1903) where readable.

I've been lucky to get replacements for quite a few of my regrets, there's only a couple more to tick off the list. Of course, the other "regret" category consists of things I saw & never bought at all...
Thanks also, Bernard, yes there is a hallmark, the seller mentioned it was 1907 I think...I will have to take a closer look...
