This 2" hummingbird brooch has a dusty blue enamel body, with small pastel blue, green & white rhinestones in a silvertone setting. Signed LC on back, ca 1980s by designer Liz Claiborne

DejaVu I totally concur, Liz Claiborne had a great eye for costume jewelry esp figurals. I once walked past her after she had done a fashion show at Macy's, she was wearing those huge round glasses, very stylish lady
Scott it's a really pretty hummer isn't it, Ms Claiborne often used this pale blue-green color combo in her animal pieces it's really soft. I also have her frog & seahorse in similar colors
Phil the finish on this bird is definitely cool, the blue enamel has a pocked texture that is quite fashionable & what you would expect from a "fashion diva" :)
