Here is a 4"H x 5 1-4"W red glass cat on top of a basket dish by Westmoreland Glass, with name in circle raised imprint both under lid and in center of basket (photo four). Reissued by Rosso Glass of Port Vue PA

Scott you have some cool cats in your collection, maybe they're not your fave but like me, I think you give all animals equal time :) I hoped you would enjoy this bright red glass, it's often hard to find a nice animal piece in red but I thought the color brought out the beauty in the cat's face. Phil it is so great to find a glass animal in perfect condition, depending on how old they are (this is a reissue of an old design which is usually safer), I've been lucky that most are in good shape. Now to decide, what can I put in the basket...a candy dish is a possibility. Thank you for your ever super comment
