The 1969 Kukka vase was designed by Heikki Orvola in 1969 and it combines the translucent shades of green and brown glass. The Kukka vase, made of mold-blown glass, takes its shape from the opening bud of a tulip, which brings an organic feel to the considered and symmetrically shaped glass object, creating a balanced and elegant impression.

The flower vase was produced in four different sizes and three different colour combinations in Nuutajärvi from 1970 to 1973. The series also includes a bowl that was produced in two different sizes in 1971-1972.
