I'm not sure whether these have a purpose or whether people bought them in pairs to put on the end of the mantlepiece. Either way the décor is well known and often found on Victorian pieces. The body is moulded but the clear feet and knobs are added by hand and contribute to a slight difference in height, I apologise for the fuzzy photo.
