Wow! When I spotted this on eBay AU last week I didn’t have to think too much about buying, the response was instinctual. This is a decor I’ve long admired from the Early Loetz production, & never did I imagine one would come my way.
The vase is made from cased glass with a satin finish, in spreading orange over a pale greenish custard interior. There is delicate enamel painting of flowers, highlighted with fine gilding. The inner layer contains uranium & glows under UV light.
It measures 20 cm tall, 4.3 cm across the top rim, & 5.5 cm across the base.
It also features a numbered marking on the base I/40.
Made by Loetz, late 19th century.

Beautiful!! I love pic #4!!
I'm so happy you found this. It's a beauty and you deserve the luck. Congrats!
