Here is a 6 1-2"H amber glass cat which was Rainbow Glass item #801L as seen in their 1972 catalog, w/orig silver label. Rainbow also made a smaller version, same cat design, which was item #801 and posted here by Rose/antiquerose. One year later, Viking Glass acquired Rainbow and used many of Rainbow's glass animal designs

Ted, cats are so pretty & unpredictable, I've always loved them & enjoyed their cute behavior. We don't have any pets now but we're once carers for a landlords cats raised from birth, they were really adorable. We get a cable channel with a show called Must Love Cats that is so much fun to watch
DejaVu, it's such a classic cat pose, simple lines yet very evocative of a real cat. I held off on posting this because Kevin-kwqd had posted one, but since he deleted his I thought it would be enjoyed
Scott he's a cool fella right, and the deep amber glass is really lovely - quite a heavy piece too. That's because they used to add lead to glass animals & why you can see some dark shading
