Here is another interesting & very unusual piece of glass I found in a shop at Newtown last weekend.
This small vase is made from pale orange & white marbled glass with a satin finish. The top is encircled by a rather rustic metal collar (pewter maybe) encrusted with small coloured glass cabochons in blue, red & green.
It measures 10 cm tall, 4.3 cm across the top rim, 5 cm across the base.
Most likely Bohemian origin, circa early 1900s. No idea of a maker, having not seen anything quite like it before. Informed thoughts welcome!

Nothing informed here but I really like it, such an unusual combination of styles.
Many thanks Bernard! Your thoughts are always welcome!
This vase has got me stumped, I’ve never seen anything quite like it. When I spotted it I knew I had to have it, it ticked a lot of boxes for me, the oddity factor especially…
