Antikes-Glas-Neuwirth uses the term ‘Prismenbecher’ for this type of glass rather than using the term ‘Zwischengoldglas’ which is a term describing another much rarer glass technique made popular by Kunckel in the late 17th century. 'Prismenbecher' describes the ten vertical facets rather than the embedded image in the ‘double foot’, I suppose. The image is in this case a daisy and from above you see a kaleidoscopic repetition of it. These days these glasses are harder to find and I finally bit the bullet and purchased this one here last week. To find a piece of ‘Zwischengoldglas’ is on the bucket list.
This beaker is Bohemian, I think. Meyr’s Neffe is a possibility.
