These antique brass door knockers were collected from ebay & antique markets in Toronto & Ontario. They are a part of my collection & mounted to an old mahogany three piece dresser back panel. The victorian glass mirrors removed & back panels reversed. Nice inlayed marketry work.

I'm a knockers fan also. Actually, I prefer the smaller ones. They look perkier & more hand-friendly.

Wow you have a great collection knockersfan. Unusual. I like the animal ones, lions, bats etc. & i adore your lion. I do love these old knockers but never owned one..until tonight that is, i've just won one from ebay:) soon as it comes I'll post it, not an animal, unfortunately, but a Greek God.

Yeah! Show us close ups of your knockers. Might even suggest that from some other members. Am I banned yet? Have to admit that staff has been very tolerant of me.

Very nice collection. When I lived up North I use to see them frequently but seldom see them here in Florida. I have one favorite that is an elephant head and the trunk is the knocker. Thanks for posting them.
