    This lobed floriform solifleur vase is in a décor that has been described as pastel decoupage by Craig, as portions of the confetti or spatter look "cut out", best seen with the blue in pics 1 & 3.
    It is 19cm high and nearly intact, given the amount of rigaree.

      This is one of my favorite Welz décors.... and my favorite spatter decor by them for sure.....

      I should add there is a row of "hobnails" at the weakest point where the stem meets the body - now these can have no possible decorative purpose apart from being visible at an angle. I think they must have been intended to give some actual or hoped mechanical strength at this weak point.
