This is a sneak peek at one of my curio cabinets. I have inherited a lot of antiques and most are in environment controlled storage. Why? Little break-your-stuff rug rats. I have very recently brought out a box as a tester to see if they listen to "you break it and I will kill you (not literally)".
So what do you see? Quezel, Stuben, Galle, ivory, painted ivory, jade, and a whale tooth.
I will post individual pictures as I would really appreciate input from our knowledgable glass gods. Particularly the striped piece on the first photo is a mystery to me.

Wow! Just wow!
Absolutely! Now just paranoid about breakage : )
Fabulous!.. would love to see the cabinet "full monty" :) and cant wait to see the glass posted individually..
Thanks everyone. I plan on individual posts ASAP.
Sean, just pulled it out of storage, I have more to bring (slowly) into the house. If anything broke I would freak.
Love the Steuben Blue Aurene compote !
Eye4. These pieces I inherited. The antique world used to be very different. People didn't want old, only new. Especially in the 70s. Heck in the 90s I was still finding Victorian jewelry at the thrift pretty regularly.
Still waiting sor you to email me your address so I can send that lighter o stubborn one!!!
Hedge! So lovely of you to stop by all my postings. Hope you are feeling well. Again, miss you.
Missed a few...tryin to catch up !
Hello Mikie. I am still feeling the triumph of this mornings quiz. Really looking forward to the next one. Everyone was ticked that I answered so early. 80s is my bag, plus the hubby "collects" music...good reference. Had a great time with it, you are making CW super fun.
Is the orange countryside piece Legras?
The glasshounds are talking about similar things at the moment.
Yes, I love the Steuben compote also, and the little Tiffany cabinet vase on the same shelf. The Daum winter landscape in the 1st photo is a good one too (or is it Legras?). The one on the right (1st pic) is really interesting but I can't identify it. Any marks on that one?
nice things you have there
I really need to post individual shots. Will get to it soon.
Thank you to everyone. I look forward to your opinions on future posts!
