    This desk was purchased by me in the 1980s. It's lovely and receives so many compliments! It came from a client who was a rancher in Southern California and an attorney. It had been in his family, and that's about all he knew. Can anybody tell me about it???

      I have seen these, both old and newer versions. The older ones were French as I recall. They were referred to as a half round secretary desk.
