This is my favourite of the three. Essentially it is similar to the pink one but it is shorter and the balls are bigger. Neither have a boss where the ribs meet on the balls, as the blue one does,
Seeing the three together the balls get bigger as the vases get shorter. The number of variations Welz made on a theme never ceases to amaze me.
This vase and the blue one came to me from a wonderful lady named Lesley. I'd bought glass from her and we'd got into conversation when, during discussion of further purchases, she said she would include these with the next purchase as they're not perfect. How generous is that......

Wow! These are terrific, Peggy! I have never seen one in this decor before, either. Didn't Welz have fun with unusual shapes? I think they really had a playful aspect to their work.
