    These bells make the most beautiful sound! i couldn't believe it when i rang them! those tines make it sound like many bells. i'm not sure why they have the little tops like these do, nor how they are used, but i want to learn more about them.

      nice work kyra!! exactly right! i found quite a few which said they are from Tibet, but they look Indian to me. the sound is really wonderful and i can imagine an elephant walking by tinkling with these!

      These are also Benares Ware - good quality and early 20th century/late 19th century.
