I chose this dramatic Pepita décor vase by Rindskopf as something special for my 150th Collectors Weekly story. It is about 10" tall and over 6" in diameter. The pontil mark is polished and the rim is crimped, pinched, turned inward upon itself, and polished. The deep rubina red glass at the top fades to a green oil spot décor toward the base. The surface has a butterfly wing like texture and a vivid metallic oxide iridescence in shades of purple and gold that is hard to miss. In my opinion, one of the best designs by Rindskopf. c. 1900-1915. Thanks for visiting!

Thank you so much Malkey... I may slow my pace a bit on the glass soon... too busy at work trying to get stuff done before the holidays, and preparing for the holidays at home. Best seasonal greetings to you and yours!

I agree with you Bob, this is one of the best Rindskopf designs! It has great color, beautiful form, fantastic rim, and having seen one in person... great texture!

Stunning piece of glass Bob! The iridescence is to die for, but I particularly love the transition from the greenish base through all colours and shades to that deep, shot, reddish black, shown off by the curves of the rim.
