It was a long time ago that I once carried some gold jewelry with garnet be honest I do not often enough. I always try to combine my jewelry in beautiful harmony (color, style etc.) with clothes. The enamelled pair of earrings (bottom right of the image) are the oldest. These are Almandine garnet and more red in color than the other jewelry. These are all old Bohemian Garnet and deep reddish brown.
Some of these jewelry belonging to antique peasant Dutch jewelry.
Anyway, I put my gold jewelry with garnet again together and think that especially beautiful old shells are so beautiful sparkling different (dark) red color. I hope you agree ?
