This pretty little brooch in typical Jugendstil was made in Germany around 1900 by the Pforzheim maker Meyle and Mayer, properly stamped on the back with the dragonfly mark. It has a garnet cabochon at the centre and acanthus leaf decorations. The original c clasp has been replaced by a more secure, modern one. For the rest, it is in great shape.
