Hey so I was walking in a old barn my family has recently acquired and I stumbled up on this jem I don't know anything about it and I was wondering if someone could tell me about it's history and what exactly it is

The gem might be that small porcelain palm push sign.
Yeah, the little sign attached to it is of more interest than the cooler. That is the gem, as Mr. Nobucks suggests.
I dislike Coca-Cola, but even I like that little sign attached to it.
