Well, this must be from 1980....LOL as it was an Xmas gift. Did not have the original pen to it, but that is okay as I have some extra of those type of long black pens to fit on it. I have started a new little agate rock collection here...LOL.

Thanks bonnie...I do not know why I am attractive to Clocks, lamps, and pens sets too...............lol.......along with a zillion other things too.
I believe I have only seen one of these before in person and it was about 1980 when new !~
I have a clock with a geode slice for the back. It was a Christmas gift my mother made to her father, probably around that same time. The sort of thing you gave a man who had a desk when you didn't know what else to give, at least in our case. :)
This looks like Blue Lace Agate, pretty!
