Oh boy a new improved program for uploading a post. Seems to work well especially the photo uploader.
Anyway this was my first vintage ornament I picked up this year. It's a little cloth covered wreath 9"across with a plastic candle typical for decorations of the 1950s and 1960s. A nice touch for this piece is that the cord is wrapped in fabric so one spared having to look at a tacky plastic cord dangling down.
This has the original box which is nothing much to look upon but as a toy collector I like to have the boxes.

Be careful with that red light bulb that's in it fort -- *that* also looks to be vintage 1950's to me?!! (maybe original to the decoration, even?) I'm pretty sure similar bulbs are still made (or at least available) but no longer with that nifty 'flame' pattern to the glass. LOVE the red cloth-covered cord w/bakelite plug too!! <applause>
