Looks like it will be a zippity do dah day. This is Brer Rabbit from the Song of the South movie from 1946. Brer Rabbit and the briar patch and all that. It isn't quite up there with Snow White or Cinderella but it has gone on to be a major attraction at Disney Parks as Splash Mountain.
Anyway this is one of the original Disneykins from 1961. One of the more common figures I believe. The sides of the box show other figures available featuring Panchito from last week.
Coming up on Matchbox Monday is a model that is a bit older than usual. I think it will be a big hit.

This is really very neat!! I've never came across one of these while treasure hunting, but I've seen a few on eBay.
Oh wow, this is very cool! I would imagine pretty rare too! Geeze, thee days there isn't much of anything that actually is rare but I bet this one is!
