    C. 1909 (intercom or phone?) from Western Electric with Hawthorne receiver. I bought it in the antique store liquidation auction. It could use some polishing, and the cord needs to be reattached to the receiver.

      Would this have been in a Police or Fire call box ?

      I don't think so. I think it is just an intercom. But, hopefully one of the phone collectors will chime in.
