These Art Deco era wall pockets were gifts from me to my mother over the years. Glass wall pockets are quite rare compared to ceramic ones. The first three are Australian, made by Crown Crystal in the 1930s. The pale orange & watermelon pink colours are not integral to the glass, rather, the colour was applied via a ceramic glaze technique. They also have a satin finish, while the clear one is glossy. All three of them measure 23.5 cm in length, & 15.5 cm wide across the opening at the top.
The green wall pocket with an overlapping petal form is English, also dating from the 1930s. It contains uranium & glows under UV light, & measures 21.5 cm in length & 15.5 cm across the top opening.
