    A very cool, and odd, vending machine that dispenses ballpoint pens for 10 cents apiece. This even has original pens from the 1960's which oddly enough don't seem to write anymore :)

      My daughter's elementary school still has a no 2 pencil vending machine in the hallway. Ten cents a pencil :)

      Cool. I can't say that I remember these vending machines at all. As I recall, my grade school had a supply room with one of those 'dutch doors,' and a staff member would periodically open it for business.
