I found this awesome vase today, looks like they somehow took the ink out of a newspaper and applied it to the many curves. I wish I could show more than 4 images, it has so many different curves and angles. I did find a date on it, 1957, but for the life of me I cannot read that signature! Can anyone make that out? I would love to know who made this, its so cool!

Great vase, love the crumpled newspaper look (as its made in the 50s, can't help but think of the film Red Shoes where her clothing turns into crumpled newspaper)

I have a very similar vase I got from my grandmother. She got it in Italy in the late 1950s when my Grandfather was stationed in Germany and they would take trips to Italy. I've always loved it and I've never found anything on it. Mine is the same shaoe but different newspaper clippings. I'm so happy to see someone else has one. I love it.
