I start to feel more comfortable to look around and spend some time at my Junk stores that i use visit daily months ago, oh surprise to find yesterday this Art Nouveau Antique c-clasp brooch, not so sure what it's made of, the stone look to be embedded to the metal, hold in place by 4 small little hook on each corner of every stone, the only mark that i see is "A.V", picture 4
This brooch is 1.25 inches height by 1.50 inches wide

Yes, truthordare got that right! I believe it's Sleeping Beauty turquoise and that mine is now closed. And for the AV, I have a piece of jewelry that I thought was blue topaz but someone I met told me that without doubt, it was a sapphire! Anyway that piece is marked AV. I can't think of his name right now but at one point he worked for Hermes and then went on to open his own jewelry store. I'll try to remember his name and let you know. It's a gorgeous brooch!!!
