This 3" silvertone brooch has a border of midnight blue baguettes, along with myriad deep blue & white tiny rhinestones in a curved leaflike shape. By Hobe (1927-1995) ca 1950s

That inky blue is such a great colour, and everything about this brooch sits right.
Hobe clearly made good stuff.
The leaf design is wonderful, but different than most, perfect aquistion !~
Beautiful design by a sought after company. Love the large size, too. It is a leaf but no ordinary leaf, for sure!

Phil thank you so much for the always fabulous praise, this is an unusual leaf design but I think that's why I love it, with non-animal brooches I hate to be locked in to the same old design, and it's delightful to find one that is different
Thank you Maureen for the wonderful compliments, glad you liked this big leaf design and you are so right, Hobe is very sought after & you have to jump on an all rhinestone piece like this one or you're left with their plain designs (which are nice, but I prefer sparkle)
