OK perhaps it isn't quartz and not all that colorful but it is like quartz. It's a bit like a blob of glass. The color doesn't show well in the first three photos but it does in the last. Perhaps I should change my light. Looks like an amber color.
This little chunk is about 1 1/2" long. I am wondering if I can activate its healing power without knowing what it is exactly. My chakra is already feeling fine so it will be hard to tell.

My first thought was that is was a lump of crystalized ginger. Nice piece.
