Like a fantasy bird, in first photo looks like a smile, very nice and quite endearing !~
Such a pretty little glass bird Jenni!! Pretty colors!
For some reason I looked at it and seen a little green kitten(don't ask! :D) but now I see the little comb on his head, the tail and the beak! :P Cute and chubby looking little bird, but also sleek too!

Thank you so much Phil for the lovely compliments, yes the colors in this bird make it quite magical, I really love the way they are combined. It does appear to be smiling with its head bent coyly :)

Karen I'm really glad this color combo is your favorite, I thought of you when I got this piece because the lavender part is supposed to be neodymium, and try as I might even outdoor lighting didn't give it a blue cast - oh well! Sorry if I'm a bit slack at present Jenni. Got urgently into a specialist last Wednesday because of a knee lock (trauma and arthritis caused) and almost before I could breathe Friday I got a new knee. Just home now doing at home rehab and I'm a bit tired and sore. But happy, very happy. I'm sure life will get a whole lot easier.
