Becraft Glass Co. 1955-1972 Lily

Cobalt blue lily made by Alvin Becraft with amazing color ! Alvin Becraft married Lavenia Holland in 1929. They became a very well established couple in the Fort Smith , Arkansas area where they subsided in Sebastian to build his shop on 15 th street. He had a gift store and bus tours that frequented. He spent so many hours in his shop that it would probably stagger most. He was a very well known artist. He taught Ralph Smith everything he knew. It’s a blessing that Ralph had received all of the special molds my grandfather had left behind ,after he passed in 1972. . Alvin Becraft was a Godfather to this rare glass art . I am very proud of him and what he accomplished in his life time. Alvins grandaughter Leann
