Very nice Swingline Speed stapler by Speed products co inc. Long Island NY in battleship grey. Timelessly beautiful and functional. These were apparently the first stapler that had a spring load mechanism for the staples.

I remember in later 70's when I first worked for the government we had quite a few of these still around and in steady use. Later on closer to this new era we got addicted to the plier grip stapler and gave up these workhorses. Beautiful !~

Swingline and Boston are brands that should be commended. They are unbelievably well-made for what they are and a testament to longevity. This beauty must be going on 70 years old and it still looks near new and operates like it should.
